11 Things You Can Do To Keep Your Teeth (and whole body!) Healthy During COVID-19
Chances are, if you had a dental appointment scheduled for April or May, it’s been cancelled due to stay-home orders across the nation during this COVID-19 pandemic. Maybe you hadn’t seen a dentist in a while, or maybe you need your teeth cleaned every 3 months and now that’s going to be stretched out longer than you (and your dentist) would like.
While regular dental cleanings and exams are certainly advised, there are things you can do at home in your daily life to maintain your own health and wellness – from your teeth down to your toes – and remember, it’s all connected anyway! Inflammation in your mouth often indicates inflammation elsewhere, and your oral health greatly influences your immune system. What we put into the beginning of our digestive tract (read: our mouths!) impacts the entire body all the way down. In addition, daily habits like sleep and stress management influence the performance of our immune systems and healing capabilities.
Take a look at the checklist below of 11 things you can do to stay healthy while you’re staying home during this time. For a free PDF of the expanded guide, fill out the contact form and I’ll email it to you. Better yet – if you’re ready to seriously implement these guidelines into your daily life for the long term, and feel better every day, let’s work together! That’s literally why I’m here, doing what I’m doing, sharing this information and helping make the connection between oral and systemic health – for YOU to feel awesome!
